Cashew Collagen Coffee
Pretty sure if I could only choose one meal to consume forever, it would be a latte loaded with all the goods. Which basically counts as a meal and is my favorite thing ever. As the days get hotter, I’ve been craving a cold variety. You can call it an iced latte or a smoothie, whatever, its caffeinated, cold and delicious!
This is a favorite variation after a hard run when my body needs to be replenished asap, but isn’t quite ready to tolerate a full meal.
2 shots Espresso, cooled (I always brew some, then put it in a jar in the fridge for the next day)
1 tbsp Cashew Butter
2 tbsp Maple Syrup
1 cup Oat Milk
2 scoops Collagen ( I use Vital Proteins for my coffee drinks)
1 tsp Black Maca (optional…)
Tiny pinch salt
Blend the milk, collagen, maple, salt, nut butter and maca together. Pour over espresso & ice.
