Easy Pesto Pasta

A good meal does not have to be complicated. You don't even have to make it all from scratch. Sure, it's better if you do... but most of us need options that allow for quick easy combos. Of course, that doesn't have mean resorting back to mac n chz or pasta w/ jarred red sauce... Easy can still be interesting, vibrant and delicious! 


+ 1 Box BANZA (or any lentil/pea/bean) 
+ 1  container Cilantro Pesto
+ 1/2 cup Tamari Almonds, chopped


In a large pot of water, boil pasta until done. Reserve 1/2 cup of water before draining the rest. Toss the cooked pasta back with the reserved water and cilantro pesto. Stir to coat. Portion into bowls and top with almonds.
