Maple Spice

I like a PSL … by ‘a’ I mean one singular PSL. After that, I’m done. No thanks. That’s all it takes to remind me that the overly artificial spiced taste is not what my autumn eating needs.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t still crave the seasonal spices and creative coffee drinks. Especially with the addition of a La Marzacco mini in our kitchen… I practically live in a coffee shop!! I decided to make my own latte syrups to bring the fun to my lattes in a more natural and tasty way.

Don’t think this syrup is limited to coffee only! Add it to smoothies, oatmeal or over roast sweet potatoes!



  • 1.5 cups Maple Syrup

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp each Ginger, Cardamom, Allspice, Clove

How To:

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat on medium - low for about 10 minutes, frequently stirring the spices into the mixture. Remove from heat. Let cool slightly. Pour into a sealable jar and store in the fridge.
