Recovery Brownies.

I swear! These brownies are delicious and contain nutrients to help you recover from a hard workout. 

What makes these brownies so special?  I've added collagen, maca, and flavoaols to pump these treats up. Collagen adds protein and helps to preserve joint and tendon health. Maca improves endurance and flavanols from cocoa provide anti-inflammatory properties to calm your system post workout. 


+ 6 Eggs (pasture raised is best!)
+ 1/3 cup Cocoa (I use CocoaElite
+ 1/2 cup Coconut Flour
+ 1/3 cup Coconut Oil (Melted) 

+ 1 dash of Pure Vanilla Extract
+ 3/4 cup Coconut Sugar
+ 2 tbsp Red Maca
+ 4 tbsp Collagen Peptides ( I use Vital Proteins)
+ 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (or Cacao Nibs for less sugar)
+ 1 tsp Sea Salt



 Heat the oven to 350. Grease a brownie pan with coconut oil. Mix eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add in all dry ingredients. Mix well. Next add in melted coconut oil. Mix again to combine. Add in chocolate chips or cacao nibs. Pour into prepared pan. Bake ~30 minutes. Let cool completely.
