Who doesn't love a good waffle? While most days, sitting down to a plate of waffles might be a bit much... they might be just what your body needs before an endurance workout.

These waffles are made to #fuelyourfitness by delivering simple, easy to digest carbohydrate along with a bit of protein and fat to support needs during a long workout.  Macronutrients aren't the only thing these waffles have to offer; they are enhanced with maca to boost endurance and mesquite for natural sweetness.

+ 1 1/4 cup Pamela Gluten Free Pancake Mix (or whatever mix you prefer)
+ 2 tbsp Mesquite Powder
+ 2 tbsp Maca Powder
+ 1 Scoop KLEAN Athlete Protein Powder
+ 1/2 tsp Salt
+ 2 Eggs
+ 1/4 cup Almond Meal
+ 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
+ 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Whisk all ingredients together. Let sit for ~5 minutes to thicken up. Prepare your waffle maker. When ready, add small scoops of batter, depending on the size of your waffle iron. Cook until the waffles are golden and easily lift from the waffle iron.

Drizzle with maple syrup for immediate fueling! Saving them for later, let cool, then wrap in foil to stash in your kit pocket and eat on the go.

There are many variations of waffles you can make! Anyone have a favorite?
