It is best to make your own sauces, dressings, and condiments whenever possible. Store bought versions generally have many added sugars, preservatives, and other additives.
This is creamy, natural and simple that will add a bright, clean flavor to any meal.
+ 6oz Greek Plain Yogurt. (I use Icelandic Varieties)
+ 1 cup Buttermilk
+ 1/2 cup minced fresh herbs: Basil, Dill, Parsley, Chives
+ 1/2 Lemon, juice + zest
+ 1/2 tbsp Garlic, minced
+ 1 tsp Pepper
+ Salt to taste
Whisk together the lemon juice, mayo and buttermilk. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Chill for 1 hour (at least).
This dressing is amazing on light dishes such as seafood and fresh greens.
